NEW brineFAST - Undiluted 30% NaCl Brine Analysis System for ICP

The new brineFAST system is an easy-to-use automated chelation preconcentration system for ICP spectroscopy that dramatically improves detection limits for alkaline earth and transition elements in saturated high purity NaCl brine samples.

The brineFAST system is specifically designed for laboratories supporting chlor-alkali process control and other applications requiring the determination of trace elements in brine.

The brineFAST system takes up an aliquot of high purity brine and concentrates elements such as Ca, Mg, Fe, Ba, Sr, Mn, and others on a chelation column while allowing the NaCl matrix to pass through. The concentrated metals are then eluted into a nebulizer and determined by ICP spectroscopy.

The brineFAST system provides many benefits, including:

• Analytical Control of Critical Processes – Verification of low and sub-ppb elemental concentrations in starting materials and process brines can extend the life of electrochemical membrane cells, and improve chlor-alkali process control.

• Production Uptime – Reduce maintenance and associated downtime by ensuring that Ca and Mg concentrations in feedstock material are low.

• Analytical Accuracy - Reduced matrix suppression and higher signal intensity improves signal to background ratio, precision, and accuracy.
